The Branch Manager of the Axim branch of the Ghana Commercial Bank in the Western Region, Mr Stephen Hammond, has advised service personnel to be conscious and work hard at their new workplaces towards the development of the country.
He said as future leaders of the country it is through hard work that they can increase the productivity that the nation desires and that would earn more revenue for the nation to finance its development projects.
Mr Hammond gave the advice at a dinner dance organized by the Nzema East Municipal Secretariat of the National Service Scheme for service personnel in the municipality and those of the Ellembenle district to mark the weeklong celebration at Nkroful.
He asked them to be financially conscious as they entered the world, so as to succeed in life.
The Bank Manager reminded them that they could only succeed in life through hard work, dedication and honesty.
He commended them for their contribution towards the development of the area during their service despite the difficulties.
Mr Kojo Blay, Municipal Co-ordinator of the National Service Scheme in his welcoming address, urged the personnel to see the service as a preparation grounds for the job ahead.
