Kumasi, Dec 31, GNA - Scancom Ghana Limited, operators of Areeba mobile communication services, on Wednesday presented assorted biscuits valued about 12 million cedis to the Kumasi South Hospital at Kyirapatre. Mr Godfred Kumordjie, Finance and Administrative Manager of Charter House, who presented the biscuits on behalf of Areeba, said the presentation formed part of activities to climax the ninth anniversary of Areeba. It was also to put smiles back on the faces of deprived patients at the hospital.
Mr Kumordjie called on other organizations and firms to contribute towards the upkeep of the needy and deprived in the society. Dr Frank Abebrese, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, who received the items, thanked Areeba for its kind gesture.
