Through the instrumentality of the Member of Parliament for Obuasi Hon. Edward Michael Ennin, a U. S. based banker and managing partner of the Bank of Montreal Madam Michelle Hooper has been unofficially installed the development queen mother (Nkosuohemaa) of the Obuasi municipality.

At a brief and informal ceremony held at the Anyinam Lodge restaurant, and witnessed by some N. P. P. Supporters and officials of the Obuasi municipal assembly Madam Hooper, who was a member of the 42-member investor team to the country, was symbolically dressed with the traditional queen mother's regalia of pure Kente clothing and native Sandals (Ahenema).

Madam Hooper who was so excited about the honour done her told the gathering that she has accepted the responsibly and pledged to team up with the municipal authorities to enhance the image of the Obuasi township. She was presented with pallets of pure refined gold as a gesture from the M. P.

At a later interview the Member of Parliament Hon. Ennin told “The Servant” that an official and grand installation ceremony with support from the Adansi Traditional Council and other stakeholders will later be held.

He said Madam Hooper's background as a daughter of a Coal miner in the U. S. A. and her love for Obuasi and Ghana as a whole, makes her a perfect choice for the position. “When she is formally outdoored her queen mother's name will be made public” he stated.

They suddenly heard a knock at the door.

Beatrice opened the door only to realize that it was the father, who forcibly entered the room with a machete.

Sensing danger Kwame Ofori, took cover under the bed but was spotted by Opaanin Addae who began inflicting cutlass wounds on the legs.

Kwame Ofori who attempted to escape was given another slash on the right leg resulting in a deep cut.
