Say Yes for Child Survival Foundation has granted financial aid including school items to the organization’s 10 beneficiaries at the Nyagbo-Odumase E.P. Primary School on Monday, October 17, 2016in the Volta region.

Each beneficiary received two pairs of school uniform, a pair of shoes, socks, a school bag, text books, exercise/note books, pens, pencils, and mathematical sets.

Other items donated include poster colours, crayons, rulers, sharpeners, erasers, and branded T-shirt.

They were also assisted to register for their health insurance (NHIS) and were treated, along with their parents/guardians, to drinks and biscuits.

Additionally, the organization paid for the beneficiaries’ examinations fees, PTA dues, and other related dues for the 2016/2017 academic session.

Treasurer of the Organization, Mrs. Erica Dangnan, encouraged the children, guardians and the Headmaster to ensure that these items are well taken care of, utilized for the educational benefits of the children.

Say Yes Foundation was established by US-based, Ghanaian Evangelist Elizabeth Odani-Sibanyama, to identify needy but brilliant school children in the primary school levels to help out with their education by providing them with financial assistance.

During the presentation ceremony, the Founder/CEO spoke to the children and their guardians via WhatsApp to admonish them that the organization, through Christ Jesus, will see the children through to the tertiary levels of education.

The Headmaster of the Nyagbo-Odumase E.P. School, Mr. Akorli thanked the Say Yes team.

“On behalf of the school, we are very grateful. Truly, as you said earlier that Jesus Christ is your rock and you have fulfilled your promise today,” he said.

The selected beneficiaries, aged 6 to12 years old, include Yaba Linda, Ocloo Fred, Kakradi Godsway, Ametefe Lydia, Okran Anita, Dzereke Godsway, Atta Richard, Ocran Grace, Attakumah Emmanuel, and Ocran Jemima.
