Accra, Oct 25, GNA - Kayala Gortor, a business man has been presented with a cheque for GH₵ 30,000.00 as the first monthly winner in the Vodafone Yee Twi Ko reloaded.

The Yee Twi Ko reloaded, which seeks to touch the lives of 750,000 Vodafone customers with GH¢ 2.5 million worth of prices presented the cheques to four other monthly winners.

The monthly cheques which would be presented to the customer with most points within the month saw Fawzia Karim, Samuel Obeng, Samuel Amoako and Jones Baneseh all taking home GH¢ 5,000.00.

The over joyous Kayala noted that he did not believe at first when he had a call as one of the Vodafone customers with the highest number of points.

'I didn't believe it was true at first…but after subsequent calls from their office I got to believe it.

'Looking at the kind of business I do, I will reinvest the money into it…there is not so much plan.

'My ultimate plan for now is the ultimate prize…maybe I would also reinvest in into plans of getting the bigger ultimate.'

Kayala also used the occasion to urge all Vodafone subscribers to continue buying credits to also win some prizes.

'They should go out there and try it…I didn't believe it but now am here with my cheque'.

In an interview with the GNA, Mr Richmond Asante, Head, Mass Marketing Vodafone Ghana, said this was part of plans to be innovative with their customers.

'This Yee Twi ko reloaded is to reward our customers and also to be innovative with them.

'This is much more improved than last year, we had GH¢ 100,000 as the ultimate prize but we have GH¢ 150,000 for the ultimate this year.

'As part of the GH¢ 2.5million to be won for the whole reloaded programme, we will be rewarding customers with the highest points every month.'

Mr Asante also advanced the authenticity of the results saying: 'our data is collated by international auditing firm, KPMG of which people who have either won something or not won anything by scratching the card, stand the chance of winning money from points build up'.

The telecommunication giant, Vodafone with a current presence in all the regions, has presented in total a cheque for GH¢ 50,000.00 to the first Ye Twi Ko reloaded monthly winners with the campaign to run more than a 90 day period.
