Accra, Oct. 12, GNA - A Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), iStand4JM on Tuesday donated 15 motorbikes valued at GH₵ 45,000 to the Party's campaign machinery.

Ms Videba Dakpare, Coordinator of the Group said, the motorbikes are meant to support the Party's campaign in reaching out to the people in the hinterlands.

She said the group has taken it upon themselves to solicit support either in cash or kind to beef up the Party's campaign.

Ms Dakpare said the group is aimed at mobilising support for the party, rather than taking support to work to maintain the NDC in power in the December 7 coming elections.

She said the motorbikes were funded by Mr Joseph Boateng, a businessman.

Mr Emmanuel Zumakpeh, the Administrator at the NDC Headquarters said the Party needs the support of its supporters not only on social media but also cash, and kind gestures like the motorbikes donation.

He said the motorbikes would be used to move campaigners to the hinterlands and that would translate into winning more votes for the NDC.

Mr Sidi Abubakar Musah, National Youth Organiser of the Party encouraged other youth organisations of the Party to emulate the example of iStand4JM.

He said this would go a long way to help the campaign of the Party in achieving the 57 per cent targeted for President John Dramani Mahama.
