Capital Bank which was recently ranked the 8th at the 2016 Ghana Club 100 awards for the banking category and the 25th in the club of 100 most prestigious companies in the country has today launched “Capital Bank Young Achiever Account and Ilearn in Accra.

Speaking at a short ceremony, Managing Director of Capital Bank, Reverend Fitzgerald Odonkor said the account aimed at providing the best financial security for children from birth to the age of 17.

He added that, for client to switch to or open the young achiever account needs only balance of GHS10 and an operating balance of GHS100.

The account comes with an interest tiered at 25 percent above capital bank’s savings account rate.

“At capital bank , we belive that the young Achiever account is a social initiative amid also at helping families to actualize their dreams which otherwise would have been shattered due to a lack of financial security” he said.

Mr. Odonkor stated that the company placed value on the Young Achievers account, hence have partnered MBM Associates and REVO Education to give Free Ilearn tablets to clients who deposit GHS5,000 or more.

Touching on some of the things entails in the Ilearn tablet , he said the tablets are configured with 42 text books approved by the Ghana Education service ,past questions and answers from junior high school to senior high school and some other.

He said parents will also receive up to 10% dsicounts on books purchased at any sytris bookshop and up to 15% discount on football and swimming programs at Lizzy sports complex.

According to him the journey towards financial liberation is linked to strategic planning and discipline.

The director appeal to parents to have a strategic plan for their children’s future and most importantly the discipline to invest although there are always competing demands for their finances.

Meanwhile the MBM Associate, Kelvin Sarfo said the I learn project is an opportunity for every parent to involve themselves such learning with tablet becomes simple and easy for their children.

The tablet he said works without internet after logging in for the first time.

He said parent and children should adhere to the new idea on board since technology is all over the world. Adding the I learn contains apps, constitution of Ghana and basic examination past questions to make learning easy for children.
