Participants of Citi FM's Robben Island Experience in Cape Town South Africa on Saturday, September 24, organized their own version of the station's biggest corporate sporting event, Citi Business Olympics.

Dubbed, Rolympics, the participants, who were grouped into four, answered various questions on their trip to the Rainbow Nation, general knowledge, played the game of charade and more.

The relaxed games, which were the highlights of Day Three of the Robben Island Experience, came off at the poolside of the posh Commodore Hotel at Portswood in Cape Town, where the team is lodging.

Host of the award winning Eyewitness News, Richard Dela Sky, who was the quiz master for the event, took the group of four through five rounds of questioning, each question earning participants three points.

At the end of the fifth round, Group two, comprising, Philip Koku Nunyiue, Helen Obeng-Okon, Phoebe Asamoah, Sylvia Tumi, Dominic Safo and Beatrice Awuku Aboagye won with some 22 points.

Group one, comprising, Raziel Obeng-Okon, Cynthia Asamoah, Evelyn Lomotey, Patience Lanky Tetteh and Aaron Lomotey had 20 points.

The third group, made up Jackie Okle, Doreen Ashon, Amanda Awadey, Christian and Evelyn Awadzie also had 20 points.

The jubilant members of group one, at the end of the games, told Citi news, they have been training ever since it was announced the Rolympics was going to be a part of the Robben Island Experience.

“We started training way back from Ghana. No size. They tried cheating, but at the end of the day we won. We knew we will win from the day we arrived”, one of the group members, Koku Nunyiue said.

The team then moved to the Cullinan Hotel at the Central Business District of Cape Town for supper.

The group of 26 is currently on a seven day tour of Cape Town. It has already visited the Robben Island, where the country's first black president and other countless political prisoners were kept for many years.

The group also toured the Table Mountain which has the highest known concentration of plant species in the world.

The Robben Island Experience bus stops at Cape Point Sunday, September 25 2016 for a full day tour. Catch up with the daily experience on tv.citifmonline.com .
