BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, ACCRA, Aug. 30 (UPI/GNA) - A suicide bomber killed one person and injured three other staff at the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday, local officials said.

The bomber crashed into the gate at the embassy in Bishkek, killing himself and injuring an embassy gardner and two guards, Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Zhenish Razakov said.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Several buildings in the embassy compound were damaged, and staff sustained minor injuries and were being treated in nearby hospital, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying at a Tuesday press conference.

"China is deeply shocked and strongly condemns the violence," Chunying said.
