Tempane (U/E), Aug.25, GNA - Mr Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, a legal practitioner, contesting for the Tempane Constituency on the ticket of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) has said it is his topmost priority to support the youth acquire vocational skills.

This, he said, would help solve the unemployment situation among the youth in the area and also make them independent.

Mr Kpemka, a former District Chief Executive for the Garu-Tempane District, said this when he addressed some party members at a rally in Nadigri, a community in the Tempane Constituency of the Garu-Tempane District.

He said the youth had a lot of potential that had to be developed so that they could contribute significantly to national development and he needed to be in Parliament to do so.

Mr Kpemka said resourcing the youth with skills in various trades including handcrafts and artisanship would help them develop faster instead of waiting for central government to create white colour jobs for them.

He said he was focused at ensuring that the area attained quality education and would lobby with our development partners to provide modernized educational facilities and institute a vibrant educational endowment fund.

On health, the aspirant said he would ensure that the area received the adequate health infrastructure such as the community health based and planning services (CHPS) compounds among others to bring health delivery to the door steps of the people.

He said he would use thirty percent of his common fund to sponsor the training of health personnel, teacher trainees and students in the universities who need support.

He urged the people to vote for him as he was going to operate an open door administration policy.
