University of Ghana signs onto Capital Bank's fees platform

Accra, July 30, GNA - With its ambition of becoming a tier one bank by 2021, Capital Bank has roped in more schools onto its fees collection platform to facilitate fee payments.

The move means that the schools now have the opportunity to collect school fees from their students as well as parents and guardians through the 18 branches of Capital Bank in seven regions.

As many as about 16 schools have signed onto the Capital Bank fees collection platform as at July.

They are University of Ghana; Central University; University of Education, Winneba; African University College of Communications, Accra; Ghana Institute of Languages; the Presbyterian University College, Abetifi-Kwahu and the Methodist University College.

Others are the Christian Service University College, Kumasi; Koforidua Polytechnic; Jackson Education Complex, Kumasi; Shield International School, Adenta-Accra; and Legacy Girls College in Akuse, Eastern Region.

The rest are Bright Brains International Academy in Roman Ridge, Accra; Ensign College of Public Health at Kpong in the Eastern Region, Republic Academy School and Elmhurst Independent Nursery & Primary at Dansoman in Accra.

With most schools reopening for the new academic year in August, Capital Bank is therefore urging students, parents and guardians to use its platform to settle their fees.

'Our collections platform offers end to end convenience for both the schools and their clients due to a high system integration, which ensures that fees paid, reflects instantly.'

CapitalBank presently has 18 branches spread across six regions in the country and still counting.

The branches are located at the ultra-modern head office at Spintex, Abossey Okai, Tesano, Newtown, Makola, Ashiaman, Osu, Dansoman, Miotso and Tema in the Greater Accra Region; Kasoa, Cape Coast and Winneba in the Central Region; Kumasi in the Ashanti Region; Koforidua in the Eastern Region; Takoradi in the Western Region; Tamale in the Northern Region and Techiman in the Brong- Ahafo Region.

Three new branches are expected to be roll out this year to increase the number of branches to 21.
