Morning Devotion Turns Into A Reminder

Good afternoon Disciples, during my morning devotion today, I had an encounter which I cannot explain to you. But what I can share with you is God is astonished that many of us do not take advantage of dealing with Him direct or on personal basis. Even though in Christ we have such opportunities to do so.

Therefore when I returned to my study with my wife, and son had left for a church seminar at a local church. I began to contemplate quietly yet this urge will not go, I took my Bible and looked for the basis God was dealing with me like that. I was truly astonished there were many assurances in the Holy Bible, and I wondered what is going on.

Many, deceitful persons cladding themselves as men of the so called,leading many astray; without mentioning to us that, with all of our needs we can contact God through Jesus Christ our Mediator direct without these persons. Some of whom ride on the backs of human beings to preach, or getting some to eat grass,or getting many to buy many paraphernalia of Purportedly being blessed by Christ to heal or solve our problems.

It is sad, that many cannot write small pieces of worship or appreciation of what God has done for us because,we have been indoctrinated to have a misplaced loyalty to human beings instead of Christ.

Of-course respecting church elders like,the early Apostles,Oral Roberts,Billy Graham,Benson Idahosa, Nana Idun Edu, Benny Hinn, Morris Celluro,John Wesley, T D Jake ,Joyce Meyer, Witness Lee,and many more that space will not allow me to name them all, are peoples we need to love and respect.We need to thank God for giving them to us.But they do not replace the Lord Jesus Christ, His Father, and the Holy Spirit.

Am I saying that these men or persons are not good for the gospel?, of-course NOT; they are. Without such persons,it started with Peter throughout almost two thousand and over years it was these persons who God in Christ have used to bring you the Gospel of Salvation.Am I again saying do we have to hate, disrespect them?. The answer again is also NO, but don't replace them with the Lord Jesus Christ; for that it is only in the Name of Jesus Christ, into which with the Father, and the Holy Spirit we were baptised into.

You don't have to buy anything from them to replace the real happy,joyful ,and necessary relationship with Christ.Except for some of the books many of them have written, but not items like oil,handkerchief or you name it.Now read the following for yourself.

Hebrew 10: 19- 22 says "Having therefore, brothers,boldness for entering the Holy of Holies in the blood of Jesus,

Which entrance He initiated for us as a new living way through the veil, that is His flesh,

And having a great Priest over the house of God,
Let us come forward to the Holy of Holies with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our bodies washed with pure water.
