$30 ‘SAFETY CHARGE’ TO HIT AIRLINES
The Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is seeking to charge $10 per passenger and $20 per tonne of cargo as ‘safety charge’ on every international air-ticket and cargo in the country starting August 1, 2016.

Government accepted GH¢967.5 million worth of bids for a five-year domestic bond issue on Thursday and will pay a fixed yield of 24.75%, transaction arrangers said.
