Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has been handed the chance to revive his career with a trial at Germany second tier club German Karlsruher.

The 28-year-old, who recovered from a career threatening knee injury, will stay with the Bundesliga II side for two weeks before a decision on his future is taken.

The towering has returned to Germany to revive his career after he was released by Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg last month.

He was sent out on loan to FC Liefering in the second-tier in Austria but he failed to replicate his previous form which resulted in Red Bull Salzburg's decision to release him.

Vorsah could not regain his form after nearly three years of injury-induced absence which resulted in the decision to loan him to Liefering.

He now has the chance to impress the coaches at Karlsruher with the hope of landing a contract to help him revive his career.

He played in the German Bundesliga for Hoffenheim before transfering to Red Bull Salzburg.

Vorsah, who was one of Ghana's key pillars at the 2010 World Cup, made 40 appearances for the Black Stars, scoring one goal.

His last international outing was at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, where Ghana finished fourth after losing to Mali in the third place match.
