Accra, July 21, GNA - Stanbic Bank Ghana, has launched a banking service that provides the middle class customer earning a regular salary a secure and convenient way to carry out banking activities.

Dubbed: 'Achiever Banking,' the service is a digitally led customer proposition customer tailor-made to meet the needs of the success driven young professionals and middle class as they aim to reach the top of the corporate ladder.

The Head of Personal Markets at Stanbic Bank, Mrs Hannah Annobil-Acquah, said the Achiever value proposition is designed for anyone who earns a regular income from GH₵ 700.00 to GH₵3499.00.

She said the service was developed based on feedback received during interactions with customers of the bank.

'Before we came out with the proposition we met a group of customers and asked what they wanted their bank to do for them,' she said.

'They said they wanted a bank that thinks about them, supports them, gives them value and helps them to save and all of this should be under one fee. Achiever Banking is thus designed to do just that.'

Achiever Banking comes with various packages aimed at giving clients swifter access to a wide range of transactional products, digital channels, insurance packages, targeted savings and quick loans all at a bundled cost of GH₵20.00 per month.

Achiever Banking comprises Achiever Pass, Achiever Life, Achiever Link, Achiever Pay and Achiever Cash.

The Achiever Life package is a retrenchment cover which offers customers GH₵1000.00 a month for three months in the event that they lose jobs.

It also includes a 10 per cent discount on Motor Insurance as well as the Hospital Cash Cover with which the Bank supports clients GH₵100.00 for 180 days, in case they are hospitalised after an accident.

The Achiever Cash package also comes with short term financing facilities such as a pre-approved overdraft of up to 50 per cent of one's net salary and access to lifestyle loans in less than 24 hours.

'The Retrenchment Cover was introduced to let the customers know that we care for them especially in times of need,' Mrs Annobil- Acquah said, adding: 'The beauty of it is that we have added Achiever Save, an automatic savings account that allows you to save little sums of money towards a big day.'

The Achiever Pay package offers a myriad of cashless payment options through the bank's VISA Card and other payment platforms such as Slyde Pay, E-ZWICH and Mobile Money.

Launching it, Mr Alhassan Andani, Managing Director Stanbic Ghana, said the introduction of the service was in line with bank's quest to meet customers at the point of their needs.
