The Progressive People's Party (PPP) is expected to hold its third national convention in Accra today.
A press statement released by the party and signed by the Chairman of the Convention Committee, William Dowokpor announced that the convention shall be held at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre at La, Accra from 9am.
According to the statement, the 2016 presidential candidate, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and PPP parliamentary candidates from all over the country will be outdoored at event.
It said the convention, to be held under the theme, 'Jobs for Every Ghanaian Through Competent and Incorruptible Leadership,' shall be attended by 5,000 delegates from various parts of the country.
It is expected to usher in the party's 2016 campaign, the statement stated.
The PPP was formed in 2012 by Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom after he left the Convention People's Party (CPP).
