The "hero of the day":
The 25-year-old refugee from Syria, Muhannad M. in Minden, Westphalia in Germany, found than 150,000 Euro, 50,000€ in cash and the rest 100,000€ in the savings accounts, and sent it to the Immigration Office.

The refugee discovered hundred-new 500-euro bills and bank documents when he built a cabinet in his hitherto sparsely furnished apartment, which a charitable organization had donated to the refugee. They were hidden in a kind of secret compartment under a shelf of the furniture.

"We should not take anything that does not belong to us," he said.

Other People might have kept the Money for themselves, the young refugee however admitted in a interview with radio station "Radio Westfalica", it was for him too a very difficult decision from the begining, but later decided to send the Money to the immigration Office.

He opted for honesty, "I am a Muslim and the Koran say (God, Allah and the Prophet Mohammed) that we should do the right thing and can't take anything that is not ours", the 25-year-old said to the Radio Transmitter.

He then informed the staff of the immigration authorities about his find. The officials called the police, who in turn began investigation to determine the owner.

Rich reward:
The city spokeswoman of the Town Minden, said the young Syrians will get three percent value of the 150,000 Euros as a "reward fee for being honest" according to the German Law, and that will be about 4500 euros. "This young man has demonstrated an exemplary good behavior and deserves great credit," said the spokeswoman.

The Police said, the 25 year old Syrian refugee came to Germany, (East Westfalia) alone, living his family in Syria.
