Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, the 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party has urged Ghanaians to reject unfounded propaganda that people throw out especially during Election years and embrace political party with ideas and policies that will transform the socio-economic life of Ghanaians.

Nana Akuffo Addo who was speaking at Fotobi a community in the Nsawam/Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region as part of his five days tour of the Region said, the Eastern Region which is his home region is a cosmopolitan region with people from diverse background, however, during election period, some political parties brand the NPP as a party for some group of people just to create unwarranted disaffection for them. He has therefore urged all Ghanaians to reject such vile propaganda and embrace the good policies that the NPP is promising the good people of Ghana which include transformation of the economy, investment in the education sector, the “one district, one factory” policy to name but a few.

Fotobi in the Nsawam / Adoagyiri constituency is Nana Addo's first point of call in the Eastern Region. The rousing Welcome that has been meeting Akuffo Addo in the region is the symptomatic of the people's zeal to see change in this year’s presidential election.
