We’re here for a reason. I believe a bit of the reason is to throw little torches out to lead people through the dark - Whoopi Goldberg

You believe your dream or career vision is achievable and attainable. You believe in yourself. Because after you’ve decided what you want, you have to believe it’s possible, and possible for you, not just for other people. Then you need to seek out models, mentors, and coaches.

Mentors are one of the most valuable resources a young person should tap into. The idea of finding a career vision or pursuing a programme in a university or getting an immediate employment after tertiary should no longer be unsettling or a daunting experience, perforated with unknowns.

This should be a collaborative experience gathering the wisdom nuggets and knowledge of the hundreds of industry experts or entrepreneurs, who have already built a successful portfolio.

Mentors can help you move faster and avoid known pitfalls based on their years of experience, as employees or entrepreneurs themselves.

In the fast paced business life in Ghana, the question remains, where can you find mentors who can be of priceless benefit to your career or entrepreneurship journey?

The Barcamp Ghana program of the GhanaThink Foundation gathers together seasoned experts for a day’s discussion on entrepreneurship, professionalism, technology and issues pertaining to development affecting a particular community.
