Spare A Thought For Tomorrow

Feature Article Spare A Thought For Tomorrow
JUN 5, 2016 LISTEN

I took a painful but needful decision some time last year. It is the boldest decision I have ever taken after being able to toast my first girlfriend.

Unlike the toasting process which took a razzmatazz form where I pulled chords and strings from the skies; this very decision was at stone throw away from me. It has since never sat well with my immediate surrounding. I took that decision for the sake of a vision I'm still nuturing. Today, I'm glad and have no regrets of taking that particular decision.

Life would always present us with options. It presents us the difficult as well as the easiest. Any decision comes with a cost. If it comes at a discounted price tag, the repercussions are lethal.

If it comes expensive, the returns are relatively higher. Some decisions look good from an angle but inside thereof quavers.

Some decisions appear to be good today, its relevance fades off with the passing hour. It's blatant lie that what will be will be. At the karma restaurant, you get served what you order.

If you order sushi, you won't be served mushroom sauce coated with butter.

Times are hard. However, every decision matters. Don't burn the bridge for tomorrow's crossing over today and expect a miracle. Whilst you live for the moment, remember to spare a thought for tomorrow.
