"I'm So Proud Of Hyperactive Ghana"

I'm So Proud Of Hyperactive Ghana
27.05.2016 LISTEN

Some of my friends are quite sceptical about my resolute intention to officially launch my writing firm on September 11 this year, my 20th birthday. Anticipate... They believe I am supposed to acquire a business degree and also grow more in age terms before I can start a business. However, "Get ready to make mistakes," is Okyeame Kwame's sincere advice he gave me, which has even helped me to master any fear of failure.

Well, there is one group of people who actually inspire me to follow their incredible example. They are Hyperactive Ghana! Indeed, they defied the odds, and thus have a rare success story worth sharing. Hyperactive Ghana is a social media marketing firm made up of barely teenage undergraduates who are brimming with passion, innovation and excellence. And I am not ashamed to declare that, "I'm so proud of Hyperactive Ghana."

Hyperactive Ghana started off as a hype oriented idea some years back in St. Augustine's College in Cape Coast. An ambitious group of students formed this organisation to provide social media services in advertising, promotion, event coverage, public relations, and the like, in a profitable way. Their outfit were considered a joke by many myopic minds because they were in their mid-teens then, they had no funds, and they were not business students and IT wizards. Fortunately, they have become an embodiment of Dr. Rob Yeung's philosophy that, "The most formidable barrier to becoming a successful entrepreneur is not to do with investors or banks, suppliers or competitors. It is to do with yourself. There will always be critics to warn you off and tell you that what you are doing is impossible or stupid, can't work or won't work, but you can decide to carry on anyway. It takes dogged determination to become a successful entrepreneur."

Moreover, what beats my imagination about the business life of Hyperactive Ghana is their impeccable teamwork, coordination and unity. And that has really accounted for their steady growth and expansion in the arena of social media marketing. No wonder Henry Ford, one of the richest individuals ever, stated that, "Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress, working together is a success." Also, Hyperactive Ghana is known in their murky yet promising industry for their innovative services.

For instance, they operate HyperChat, a live interview of a Ghanaian star every week on Twitter. HyperLive is a live coverage of any event on Twitter. Folks, at Hyperactive Ghana; they hype anything - parties, shows, personalities, products, services, ideas etc. And did you know that Hyperactive Ghana has grown into a media group? It recently merged with KNUST Live and Fyst Made, their photographic firm.

Interestingly, Hyperactive Ghana, which dreams of emerging as one of the biggest media and production houses in 10 years, sees social media as serious business unlike most Ghanaians who perceive it as a fun-filled adventure. Now to the teeming youths of Ghana: "Passion first, and work hard. Until you see your dreams come true, don't rest," Aaron Richard Eshun, COO of Hyperactive Ghana, advised.

Look! Hyperactive Ghana began with virtually nothing, rejected an investor's offer to purchase it; but they built their capacity, started with the little they had, and worked towards excellence. Today, they can cause anything to trend on Twitter. They did it for the Sprite Ball games which became a number one trend on Twitter. Corporate institutions are therefore encouraged to do business with Hyperactive Ghana because they mean business with social media.
