Prosecuting, Detective Chief Inspector Oscar Amponsah, told a Tarkwa Circuit court, presided over by Mr Justice Emmanuel Bart-Plange Brew, that the complainant, Madam Mary Awortwe is a farmer living with her husband and children at Anyinam, near Prestea.

He said on May 13, around 0600 hours, the complainant was in her farm at Anyinam, when the accused attacked her with a stick and demanded to have sex with her.

Therefore, Madam Awortwe pleaded with Donkor and asked him to send her to a decent place for the sex.

According to the prosecutor, when they were going to the place chosen by the accused, the complainant escaped and bumped into some people and informed them about what had happened.

The accused, upon seeing the complainant being accompanied by some people, retreated and dashed into the bush.

However, he was pursued and apprehended in a sugarcane farm and handed over to the Police.
