10,000,000 Houses To Be Built For Vulnerables

Ministry of Water Resource, Works and Housing in collaboration with conference for housing excellence has launched the 6th annual housing forum in Kumasi.

Dubbed "Home For All" is aimed at providing comfort and affordable rooms for the vulnerable.

Mrs. Hellen Ankrah, Director of the centre of excellence for housing studies in an interview said, they are going to build houses in all the ten regions to help street children and those who cannot afford to also enjoy life since life is very important.

She said that data will be collected from all the district and the rural areas before the project commences.

The houses, will be given to people who cannot afford for themselves and cannot build for themselves above 40 years, to be paid instalment.

According to her, this will help reduce the number of people sleeping on the streets, and help provide sound security as well.

Mr. Kwakye Dopoah Dei, president for Ghana Real Estate Develpers Association (GREDA) said, they are happy with the housing project.
