Otumfuo's Birthday Le Même Que Kaiser !

“ARE YOU LOST?
Or the son of God has come to seek and to save those who has lost”.

Well, the GOSPLE says “this is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”. Psalm 118:24.

The LORD speaks.
“Then he said unto them go, eat the fat, and drink sweet wine, and send portions unto those who have nothing prepared; for this day is Holy unto our LORD, and not sad; for the joy of the LORD is your strength” Nehemiah 8:10.

Hmmmm!
When all is said and done, my life, your life has a turning-point that you wouldn't believe.

On this faithful day of 6^th May, 2016. Twenty years ago, the LORD molded me onto a land of peace and full of gold….Africa, specifically West Africa, Ghana.

I can't recount the blessing the good LORD has favored me with. It's an honour to celebrate this memorable birthday with the very most, authoritative kingdom ….Asante Kotoko “Wokum Apem a, Apem Beba.…. W3ti Kokosu Naa-na; the Paramount King of Ashanti kingdom. Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II.

A brief history of Otumfuo and the Ashanti Kingdom.

The Asante kingdom was founded by the great King Osei Tutu in the eighteenth century. His fetish priest was Okomfo Anokye, who unified the Asante states through allegiance to the Golden Stool, which miraculously descended from heaven.

Okomfo Anokye planted two trees in the forest and predicted that one tree would live and become the capital of Ashanti. Hence, the name Kumasi would be derived from (the tree lived); the place in which the other tree was planted became Kumawu (the tree died).

Although, the location was in the heart of the forest, Asante dominion was extended by military action and political skill towards the European occupied castles on the coast to the south, and also into the dry savannah lands to the north.

This led to various wars with Britain. Kumasi was captured by the British Army in 1873 (as a result of which much of the magnificent Asante gold regalia can be seen in London in the British Museum). After a final uprising in 1901, led by the Queen Mother of Ejisu (Yaa Asantewaa). Asante came into British's Protection and finally became a region of the Gold Coast colony.

In 1957, after a period of internal self-government, the Gold Coast became the first African colony to achieve independence under the charismatic leadership of Kwame Nkrumah.

Otumfuo's Profile.
Otumfuo was born on 6^th May, 1950 as Nana Brima Kwaku Duah. The youngest among five children of Ashanti Empress Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, Asantehemaa. His father Nana Kwame Boakye-Dankwa was from Kantinkyere in Ashanti and was the Brehyia Duke of Ashanti. His father pass on, 1^st January, 2002 in Kumasi.

His royal Majesty, Osei Tutu II is married to Asantehenema Julia Osei Tutu with six children.

He ascended the Ashanti monarchy golden stool (throne) on 26^th April, 1999. Osei Tutu II became the 16^th youngest among Asantehene Kingship, ruler of the entire Ashanti land.

Otumfuo hailed from the heard of the Ashanti royal house of “Oyoko”.

Although, it's traditional chieftains. His royal majesty has a reputable educational portfolio with “O” level certificate from Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School. He proceeded further to university of Professional Studies (UPS), where he graduated in philosophy with first-class Honour (degree) and later conferred with doctorate in philosophy at the Barbican Centre on 11^th January, 2006.

According to Wikipedia, a research software think-tank declared Otumfuo's financial (assets) status. As at 2012, his net worth was US$1.6-2 billion. Prior to 2015, GHc 7.5 trillion in gold bullion bars.

Otumfuo owns Asante Kotoko, the 20^th century football club in Africa. Twenty-four times champions of Ghana premier league, twice CAF champions in Africa, and Otumfuo educational Foundation.

On this special day in my life. I pray that the Most High God will make me fountains of gate through which the world, particularly Ghana we be bless abundantly.

And to His majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II…. May the LORD gives you kingdom principles (wisdom) to rule your folks even more powerful than King Solomon the son of David.
