Dear Dr.,
Let me first and foremost admit the fact that I'm negligibly near your calibre and personality in society and I must say I would have been more than elated if you were in my family but for the love for country and service to humanity, grant me the opportunity to be able to share with you my thoughts. Again let me also posit that, I'm one of the ardent admirers of you.

Your economic prowess and your sudden stay in Ghana's political atmosphere after you left Bank of Ghana to secure the bid to serve our nation on a higher pedestal is exceedingly commendable. The niche you've carved for yourself Dr. soon after you joined Ghana's political terrain is as great as the walls of Jerusalem.

Dr. I send you greetings as your admirer and a believer of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia tradition. This message of mine is not to applaud you for the numerous great deeds and dedicated service to our most cherished country and the elephant family (the New Patriotic Party) but to bring to your attention certain statements purported to have been uttered by your humble self which in my view are unsavory, distasteful, unappealing to the ears and above all wouldn't inure to advancing the course of building the nation our president in waiting Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and yourself yearn to see for the several youth including myself and my generation.

I found it very shocking and astonishing when I heard that those statements are attributed to you.

Ghana since time immemorial has been a cosmopolitan state where several tribes and religions have lived together peacefully. What we have always sought to have is a government that amasses its numerously God gifted resources to enhance its human potentials which the current government is exiguous of.

I will therefore humbly plead with you to preach to the Ghanaian populace your undoubted competence and how best a Nana-Bawumia government will help realize our dreams and restore our fast diminishing hopes and aspirations. Other than propagating religious sentiments that might sunder us for our constitution does not preach what the religious background of whom a president or vice president should be. Besides, there are several other religions in Ghana including Buddhists, Traditionalists, "non religious" person among others. It will be extremely suicidal if religion that will incense passions and emotions becomes a topical issue in electing our leaders.

Such actions will mar the peaceful atmosphere we have enjoyed since our fore fathers came out of slavery.

Dr. it is the utmost covet of several youth including myself who yearn to see the sterling leadership of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and yourself to restore our hopes and bring back the driving force within us to strive to achieve our aims that you do not tow the route of our opponents who in recent times have resorted to tribal, politics of intimidation and brutalization, attacks, character assassinations among others.

I find it miraculous that several of our New Patriotic Party members have failed to tell you the devout truth since we have consistently condemned several of such divisive comments from our opponents including the recent reckless statements of Hon. Dzifa Aku Attivor (of whom her own people expect her to be behind bars if she has aided and abetted any act of thievery as a minister of state).

I wish Nana and yourself well in your penchant desire to help turn our hopes alive and I promise you the votes of several of my fellow youth and myself with hardwork and determination to see to a positive transformation of our lives. And my best regards to Mrs. Samira Bawumia.

Yours,
Abu Ibrahim SUPREMO
