All roads lead to Koforidua Church of Pentecost Auditorium on Sunday May 8, 2016 at exactly 2pm for the hottest ever most special mother’s day show dubbed “My Mom & I – 2016”.

Touted as the most exciting of all mother’s day event to be staged on Sunday in Koforidua, the Eastern Region of Ghana, “My Mom & I -2016” comes on the theme: “Mummy’s Inputs Count”.

The fun-packed event promises galore of thrilling performances from hosts of top notched Ghanaian cum Nigerian gospel acts including renowned Ghanaian songstress Grace Ashy, Rev. Nana Perbi, Ps. Lenny Akpadie, and two Nigerian Minister’s; Igwe and Ebele among others.

Apart from the great musical performances to mark the day, patrons will also have a treat of insightful inspirational and educational messages from some dignitaries including the queen mother of Worawora, Nana Hemaa Abrokwa, the Flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor and hosts of special guests who will be gracing the occasion expected to be ably facilitated by Betty Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond, a popular Ghanaian TV host cum radio presenter.

‘My Mom & I 2016’ also promises to reward over 1,000 deserving mothers as well as educate some deprived mothers, making them feel loved and empowered to be effective in building the home including ministration of music in church.

“It also seeks to highlight the love of mothers for their children, depict how important the bond between the two contributes to the future of the family and the nation at large” said Rev. Nana Perbi, main organizer of the event.

According to Rev. Nana Perbi, the event will be climaxed with presentation of awards and citations to most hardworking cum long-serving mothers working as teachers in schools including some selected children who performed creditably in schools will be recognized.

Being the fourth time in succession since its maiden edition was held in 2013, ‘My Mom & I 2016' special mother's day event which comes with a big bang is expected to take the entire Koforidua by storm.
