Appolonia opens the Oxford show homes to the public

Accra, May 2, GNA - Appolonia, the mixed-use urban development near Accra, has launched its new turnkey residential development, the Oxford, with the opening of its first show homes to the public.

An open day held in parallel to the launch attracted large crowds to the event. The attendees were offered the opportunity to view the progress of development across the 941 hectare site, the selection of plots at Nova Ridge the 'Buy and Build' residential development as well as the show homes at the Oxford.

The Oxford, which broke ground in October 2014, is a residential development within Appolonia covering a total area of 49 acres 20 hectares.

The development is composed of uniquely designed two and three bedroom semi-detached and detached modern homes built to the highest quality with prices from $ 75,000.

There are currently three distinct house models, which come in six different types at the Oxford including the Eaton, Barton, and the Walton.

The Chief Executive Officer of Appolonia Anthony Okyere said: 'The Oxford is a fantastic addition to the residential offering at Appolonia. We now offer a range of options to residential buyers, whether they looking for a plot to build their own at our Nova Ridge development or an off the shelf option from the Oxford.'

An attendee at the event Samuel Akan commended the Appolonia Development Company for the work so far. 'I came to the previous open day in October last year. The speed of development is very impressive and I am delighted to see such a wide range of house options at the site.'

The Appolonia Company seeks to house 88,000 residents and 30,000 -day visitors and also create tens of thousands of jobs during its 20year phased development.

The development recently commissioned its first power substation which would serve the first 4,000 residents at the project alongside announcing the Ghana Home Loans, the leading home finance institution acquired the first commercial plot at the development.
