01.05.2016 LISTEN

The District Chief Executive and the Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC in the Offinso North Constituency, Hon Samuel Appiah Kubi has urged persons who have attained the voting age and those who have not been registered before to take the opportunity of the limited registration exercise to grab their voters ID cards.

The parliamentary aspirant also cautioned persons who wants to take advantage of the exercise to double register to desist from it because the law will not spare anyone who flouts the law.

Touching on the elections in 2016, the Ndc candidate who is now described by many constituents as "the man of development", hon Appiah Kubi said he's optimistic the NDC would form a government in 2017 and he would also become the member of parliament for the people of Offinso North.

He said the people are now awake and they are ready to resist the lies of the incumbent mp and will compare developments in their respective four-year mandates.

Hon. Appiah Kubi challenged the mp to come for a debate on radio so that they compare projects.

" I challenge him to come for a debate on radio so that we account to the good people of Offinso north in terms of development. I would be even charitable to give him the opportunity to add his times in parliament and that of when he was the DCE at both Offinso north and south. I tell you ,he can't match even my four years as the DCE let alone my eight years", he challenged.

The P.C said the developments in the district is unprecedented and will continue to do more for the people. He said the various feeder road constructions ongoing in some parts of the district is just the beginning and said he will do more to increase the economic activities of the areas.

He indicated that some parts of the areas which have not been connected to the national grid will as a matter of urgency be connected.Areas like Sewia Nfante, Mantukwa etc would enjoy the connection.

This is the fourth attempt Hon Samuel Appiah Kubi is contesting the seat and he's optimistic of a large margin victory in 2016 for President Mahama and himself.
