PPP Ghanaians Should Vote Out NDCNPP If They Seek Peace After November 7 – Ppp Youth
MAR 30, 2016 LISTEN

National Youth Cordinator of the PPP, Divine Nkrumah is appealing to Ghanaians to consider the PPP as the best alternative needed to restore hope and peace to the good people of Ghana.

He made this appeal at an emergency meeting held by the Youth Wing of the Progressive People’s party to map out strategies to effectively wrestle power from the ruling National Democratic Congress.

The meeting which took place at the PPP head office on Wednesday, 30th March, brought together all 10 regional youth organisers, Zonal Progressive Youth Movement cordinators and some National Youth Committee members.

Addressing the participants, Divine Nkrumah stated that the NDC led by President John Mahama has coherently illustrated incompetence to the core and do not deserve to be given another nod to rule the affairs of the country.

“When you come to the PPP, the youth outfit represents the leg of the party and so we are going to visit every nook and cranny, to galvanise support and to increase our support base making sure that we have enough support to win power in the 2016 elections, and if you look at what happening in the country at the moment, it should not take an angel to come from heaven to tell you that clearly the NDC and NPP have failed Ghanaians. The Incompetence of President John Dramani Mahama is legendary; he has failed to perform up to task”.

Divine Nkrumah further added that the main opposition, the NPP has illustrated through the disunity in their party that they are not ready for power. He urged Ghanaians to consider the PPP led by Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom as the best alternative with no track record of violence nor disorder.

“In recent times, if you monitor the airwaves, you will notice unnecessary tension and security crisis and if Ghana would find itself in any acrimonious arena it would emanate from NDC or NPP, it will never come from the PPP because we are a disciplined party and have admonished all our members that we will not condone any act of violence from anyone”.

The Participants pledged not to engage in politics of insults but to embark on issues based campaigns highlighting the four main Agenda of the party-stewardship, education, healthcare and jobs- to the masses.

The participants unanimously agreed to engage in grass root campaign to empower them and in turn give hope to Ghanaians.
