Joy industries DMAC Foundation has extended their outreach program to Koforidua Polytechnic screening hundreds of students as part of the ongoing Women's week celebrations .

SRC Women's Commissioner of the school, Rejoice Akobea in an interview with Brytfm reporter, Nyarko Abronoma indicated the exercise was to help access the health conditions of students in order to have good health to learn.

"We are doing this exercise to see to our health status since we students do not normally have time to go for check up" She added.

General Cordinator of DMAC Foundation, Charles Oduro Owuranie called on students to periodically visit health centres to access their health conditions instead of waiting to be sick before going for treatment.

He also stated the need for students to have healthy lifestyle in order to concentrate on their studies without any ailments.

He was however grateful to Joy Industries for their continuous ppsupport over the years.

"We commend Joy industries for their financial and logistical support " he added.

Some students who participated in the exercise also expressed gratitude to DMAC Foundation and Joy industries for helping in their health needs and urged them to visit the school frequently to access their health care.
