Accra, Feb 11, GNA - Digicut Productions and Advertising, a subsidiary company of Groupe Nduom (GN), has launched the first ever digital mobile advertising vans to carry clients' brands and messages to the doorsteps of their customers.

The digital vans use the latest outdoor LED display to carry advertising messages to locations such as roads, public events, shopping malls and big market squares in the bid to reach clients everywhere.

Mr Richmond Lamptey, the General Manager of Digicut, said at the launching held in Accra on Wednesday, that the advertising vans had inbuilt screens on both sides of the vehicle as well as at the back side to convey messages to the public.

He said clients who wish to advertise their brands would have to pay GHC 4,000 for a full month of outdoor advertising package, 'which is a far better deal in comparison to paying so much on traditional outdoor television screens or even advertising in a newspaper.'

For those who wish to advertise in the Middle or Northern zones, they would have to pay GH¢ 3,000 per advert for a full month.

Mr Lamptey said the company had acquired three vans, one each to be stationed in the Northern Zone to cover Upper East, Upper West, and Brong Ahafo Regions; the Middle Zone to cover Ashanti, Western and Central Regions; and the Southern Zone to cover Greater Accra and Eastern Regions.

He said three other vans would be acquired later to enable more clients to access the advertising vans whenever they needed such services.

Mrs Vicky Wireko-Andoh, Board Member of Digicut, said the Company introduced the mobile advertising vans due to the advancement in digital technologies which offered advertising agencies a unique and interesting way for advertisers to reach their clients.

'Digicut Production and Advertising has taken advantage of the changes in the technological face of outdoor advertising and is proud to be the first to introduce one of the newest faces of outdoor advertising in the form of mobile advertising vans in this country.'

This new technology in outdoor advertising will be available to every Ghanaian consumer no matter which region they live in. It is therefore going to be an effective advertising tool for businesses and advertising agencies wanting to catch their clients and consumers at any part of the country'.

Mrs Wireko-Andoh also urged businesses to take advantage of the services of the digital vans to enable them bring world class advertising to the doorstep of their clients.
