To What Extent Must We Take Grace?

Galatians 2 :16
Yet we know that a man is justified or reckoned righteous and in right standi ng with God not by works of the Law, but [only] through faith and [absolute] reliance on and adherence to and trust in Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). [Therefore] even we [ourselves] have believed on Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law [for we cannot be justified by any observance of the ritual of the Law given by Moses], because by keeping legal rituals and by works no human being can ever be justified (declared righteous and put in right standing with God).

When grace is preached, some religious men make comments like " you are taking this grace thing too far.". How far are we taking it?

Grace is Christ. Hence when you say " you are taking this grace thing too far", what you are saying inadvertently is that we are taking Jesus too far. Christ is the embodiment of God's unmerited favour ( grace) to man.

Titus 2:11 declares, " for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. That scripture refers to Jesus.

Religion teaches as the laws of Moses and the negative ramifications that comes with the inability to keep the law. As a result of the just nature of the Law, when it is broken, it's accompanied punishment is death. It is therefore referred to as the ministry of death.

Sorry to say this but anyone preaching the law and teaching that righteousness is from the law, such a person is a minister of the "ministry of death".

2 Corinthians 3:7-8 "for if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones was glorious. ...how will the ministry of the spirit not be more glorious?" ..The "ministry of the spirit" refers to "our ministry" and "our gospel"; GRACE.

The ministry of the spirit is the ministry of life. Remember scripture says that the letter kills but the spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6) . The letter is the law. The first day the law was introduced, 3,000 people died. The first day the spirit of God came upon the people in the upper room, 3,000 people were saved. HALLELUJAH. Dear reader just imagine that for a minute.

Dear Mr Religious man, GRACE does not teach people to sin but rather presents the unconditional love and goodness of God. It is the goodness of God that leads men unto repentance.

The purpose of the Law was never meant to make man righteous rather to show man how weak he is.
