Ghana took away three awards at the West African edition of the Ernst & Young (EY) World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held in Lagos, Nigeria on Friday night.
Two of the awards were competed for whilst the third one was a Lifetime Achievement Award conferred on Sir Sam Jonah.
The Founder and Managing Director of Kinapharma and Healthilife, Mr Kofi Nsiah-Poku beat four other Nigerians in the Emerging Enterpreneur Category.
In the Master Entrepreneur category, Dr Kwabena Adjei, Founder and Chairman of Kasapreko Limited topped the field of one other Ghanaian, Mr Edmund Poku, Managing Director of Niche Cocoa Processing and two other Nigerian finalists.
Sir Sam Jonah received a Lifetime Achievement Award, making it a total of three awards for Ghana.
