Aflao (V/R), Nov. 23, GNA - Mr Thomas Seshie, Ketu South Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has asked Ghanaians to help maintain the high momentum set by the NPP Administration for the country's development by renewing its mandate on December 7.
Mr Seshie, who was addressing a rally at Aflao at the weekend, cautioned the people that the potential prospects for them under the NPP would slip through if they voted any other party into power. He asked them to ignore the misinformation being peddled against the Government by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), which he said, could not absolve itself from the economic difficulties facing the nation.
He said the Government had released 713 million cedis and 150 million cedis, respectively to vegetable farmers and women in the Ketu District to expand their businesses.
Mr Obed Okudzeto, a Business Executive and Patron of NPP, asked the electorate to vote for President john Agyekum Kufuor and Mr Seshie to enhance the development of the nation, particularly the Aflao area.
