Neskeal Fashion show slated for November 29

Accra, Nov. 29, GNA - The Management of Neskael Travel and Tours under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts on Sunday, organised the Neskeal Fashion Show at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel, in Accra.

The event, the second edition, was designed to promote made in Ghana goods and also to showcase the African culture through fashion.

Mr Nkebolo Sita Kuos Louanges, the organiser of the Show, said the event sought to break local and international boundaries and elevate fashion design and creativity from creative minds to give an exclusive fashion experience without disrespecting the western fashion.

He said the Neskeal Fashion Show was preoccupied to patronise and popularize the 'Friday Wear' tag.

'By this, the event is designed to entertain and educate on the need to promote African culture, and showcase our rich and indigenous cultural heritage and values,' he added.

The show supported creative ideas and education, solicit skills for advancement and development in tourism and also engaged with fashion stakeholders on their fashion activities.

He said served as breeding avenues for dynamic business partnerships in view of encouraging investment opportunities for this creative industry.

In addition, the need for Ethical fashion and sustainability created the platform for engagement and more awareness from dedicated and contemporary ethical fashion designers for creative business practices that regarded the social mission.

The event also experienced models on the runway exuding confidence, beauty and elegance in their expression of African culture through fashion from the industry's best players.

Fashion models adorned in elegantly designed fabrics and accessories from Nallem Clothing, Esperer modele l'agencie, No lable, Selina Beb, Tribe (Kwesi Nti) and NKBK would be showcased.

He expressed the hope that the public would embrace revolution in patronising, documenting and preserving the rich African culture and heritage.
