The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme would like to invite you to participate in the International Volunteer Day (IVD) which will be held on Friday 4 December 2015 in Juba.
The IVD aims at bringing all together the volunteers working from UNMISS and other UN agencies in Juba.

This year's IVD celebration in South Sudan will for the first time be attended by the UNV Executive Coordinator, Mr. Richard Dictus who is visiting UN Volunteers in South Sudan along with representatives of different member states mainly Canada, Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Sweden.
The official ceremony will be attended by Deputy Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports Hon. Ms. Josephine Napon Cosmas along with UN Deputy Special Representative of Secretary General Mr. Moustapha Soumare.
The highlight of the event is blue-room talks by the UN Volunteers serving in South Sudan in different UN projects and Humanitarian missions, who will reflect on their Volunteer contribution though their professional assignments as well as personal initiatives to achieve UN mandate and to support host population.
