NDC 'NDC Bloated Membership Figure'
NOV 27, 2015 LISTEN

NATIONAL ORGANIZER of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of exaggerating the number of its registered members across the country.

According to him, the number of NDC members that turned up to vote during the party's recent presidential and parliamentary primaries indicated that the NDC bloated the number of its card bearing members.

He said places that the NDC claimed to have registered about 7000 members, only 2000 people turned up to vote, which clearly shows that the number of people that the NDC claimed to have registered was a lie.

Mr. Boadu noted that the NDC intentionally exaggerated the figure of its membership just to make Ghanaians believe that it has a huge following, indicating that 'the elections have exposed the NDC lies'.

The NPP National Organizer was addressing residents of Odumase Electoral Area in the Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi during the 'Meet Your MP' programme, organized by the MP of the area, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh.

Mr. Boadu, who was a guest speaker at the highly patronized event, said the NDC is known for its lies and therefore called on Ghanaians to vote the NDC out of political office in 2016 to help save Ghana from further degeneration.

He lambasted President Mahama for presiding over a corrupt government, pointing out that the huge number of NDC members that voted 'no' against the president at the NDC presidential polls, shows the president is not performing.

Mr. Boadu said northerners in the country have been let down by President Mahama, who also hails from the north, saying 'money which should have been used to develop the north, have landed in the pocket of individuals'.

The NPP Organizer alleged that President Mahama and his friends have distributed money for the northern development among themselves, leaving the northerners to their own fate, 'so he must be voted out of office'.

Mr. Boadu lauded Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh for initiating the 'Meet Your MP' programme to know the concerns of his people, urging other NPP MPs to emulate the shining example of the Manhyia South MP.
