Nagpur (India) (AFP) - South Africa, set a victory target of 310 runs, were 151 for six in their second innings at tea on the third day of the third Test against India in Nagpur on Friday.

Skipper Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis made 39 runs each, sharing a fifth-wicket stand of 72, before both were removed by Amit Mishra in the space of six deliveries just before tea.

At the break, JP Duminy was unbeaten on 15 and Dane Vilas was on two.

South Africa need a win to level the four-match series after losing the first Test in Mohali by 108 runs. The rain-hit second game in Bangalore was drawn.
