Ghanaian-owned multi-national company, Groupe Nduom (GN), has won the Most Employer of the Year Award at the just-ended 4th Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) awards held over the weekend at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.

Groupe Nduom is the umbrella under which over 50 companies and still counting can be found and these companies cut across the various economic sectors of our country.

For instance, Coconut Grove Hotels is in the hospitality industry, whiles GN Bank is in the financial sector, with First Digital and GN Media in the media sector.

PENTRUST, another company of GN, also thrives in the handling of pension issue whiles GN-RE is into insurance.

All these, just to mention a few, are what the Groupe Nduom stands for and with all these companies, the number of staff is enormous without the inclusion of part time workers.

Considering the various sectors of the economy, Groupe Nduom employs over 3,000 workers who now have something to hold on to at the end of every month and this was the result of the award.

And as AGI sought to award deserving companies for their enormous contribution towards the development of the country, Groupe Nduom was adjudged and had the honours conferred on them as the Most Employer of the Year 2015..

At the same event, GN Bank also won the fastest growing company in Ghana.

GN Bank has over 160 branches nationwide and seeks to go beyond as it aims at reaching 200 branches by the end of 2015.

The company which started as a savings and loans is now competing with the nation’s big banks by outpacing them to get to every nook and cranny of the country to bringing banking services to the doorstep of theordinary Ghanaian.

Speaking to Today after the award, Chief Executive Officer of GN Bank, Mr. Patrick Anumel, who also doubles as the Team Head of Groupe Nduom, said it was amazing to have been awarded as it showed that they had done a good job.

According to him, “this is just the beginning as we are going to work hard to win more laurels for the group.

“Ghanaians should expect more from us as we are not going to relax but work hard to achieve our purpose,” he indicated.

He thanked all the employers for their hard work and contributions which have made GN Bank and Groupe Nduom a force to reckon with in the economic sector of Ghana.
