The management of France 24 and the General Manager of First Digital Television Nana Ofori Owusu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to pave way for the French Television Channel,France 24 to broadcast through First Digital Digibox across Ghana and the rest of Africa.

At the signing ceremony in Accra on Wednesday, the Director for France 24, Mr. Marc Saikali expressed their vision to extend coverage to most African countries.

First Digital TV which telecast across Ghana and to other foreign nations boasts of over more than 20 channels. It is a Ghanaian indigenous channel that also broadcasts via satellite.

The France 24 team was led by the director of the channel Mr. Marc Saikali.

First Digital TV was represented by its General Manager Nana Ofori Owusu. He revealed that the ultimate objective of the meeting was the two parties to telecast France 24 on the First Digital Digibox. He promised FDTV coverage would be widened to all regions of the country. He said FDTV already receives feedback from other Africa and European countries such as UK, Togo and Nigeria.

France 24 has remained one of the top international news channels in Europe and the world with millions of viewers around the world.
