Police in Kumasi have arrested two people suspected to be fake currency dealers. Over 800 thousand Ghana cedis counterfeit money and other items believed to be black magic were found on them during a search.

The suspects, Larry Salifu and Mahama Karim, are said to have planned to dupe unsuspecting members of the public at hotel at Dichemso suburb.
