NOV 20, 2015 LISTEN

November is known for its chilling colds during the winter season. But come Friday 27th November, one of the “Kotosa” hit makers in collaboration with other Ghanaian and African Artists will set Ghanatta Hall ablaze as they ignite the perpetual flame that will see the efforts of African DJs and MCs in USA (ADAMUSA) being recognized annually in North American territories henceforth. Oh yes, the music will play on and on and on..!

Indeed, awards are bestowed unto deserving individuals who exemplify themselves in their respective endeavors. These recognitions go a long way to motivate the well-deserved winners to reach beyond their stretch for quality and equally re-invigorate the unfortunate winners to catch up for positions in the market. These gestures help to nurture the vibrancy and productivity of an institution or industry in our society.

However, it appears when it comes to Awards for Africans in the showbiz industry in the Diaspora (North America in particular), the hen that lays the golden egg is always latent. Certainly, the DJs and MCs whose effort and talents resonate our various beauty pageants, music awards, weddings, parties of all calibers, picnics and even funerals, are always incognito when it comes to showing appreciations.

The New Dawn
The jinx-breaker is finally here and notable African DJs and MCs in the entertainment industry from every nook and cranny of North America will convert “Ghanatta Hall” into a turntable for the first-ever “African DJs and MCs USA (ADAMUSA)” Awards Night. Who wins what? Don’t be told, see it and feel it yourself.
