NDC Norway Chapter hereby endorses President John Mahama as leader and presidential candidate for our party for the general elections in November 2016. As the elections draws closer, NDC Norway would like to encourage all members to be steadfast in our resolve to get the party elected for another term.
The opposition tactics of insults and shouts of incompetence is likely to grow as the elections draw closer in an attempt to shake the faith of members and Ghanaians in general and to prevent a holistic view of the government’s achievements so far. We must therefore be vigilant especially now.
As we engage in our primaries to elect our parliamentary candidates, it is crucial to bear in mind that this is a family contest as the president put it earlier this week. In a family contest, the winner carries the hopes and aspirations of the family.
The surest way to realize these hopes and aspirations therefore is to support and help the winner to excel. Let every candidate be aware that no matter who wins at the end of the day, democracy in NDC wins in the end if we all graciously accept the results and help the winning candidates to win their seats in the various constituencies.
NDC Norway wishes to thank the Chairman, General Secretary and entire leadership of the party for the great work they have done and continue to do. Our party has never been more solid, more peaceful, and more attractive as a party of choice for Ghanaians than it is currently. Managing an economy like Ghana’s will always have its challenges, but with unity of purpose and dedication, we can make a mark on the economic landscape of Ghana. Finally, NDC Norway encourages all who will be voting to vote massively for the candidacy of President John Mahama to lead our party forward. God Bless Ghana and the NDC party.
