CPP can do it in 2016- Presidential Aspirant

Koforidua (E/R), Nov. 18, GNA - Mr Joseph Agyapong, a Convention People's Party(CPP) Presidential aspirant has said, the Party was capable of wresting power in the 2016 general elections, if the party can prove to Ghanaians how ready they were to manage the country's resources.

He Ghanaians were fed up with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and hence the CPP could be the next alternative that Ghanaians were looking for.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Agyapong, President of Providence Telecommunication Company base in Canada assured Ghanaians that, a vote for the CPP was a vote for hope and a new direction to manage the country.

He said the CPP was prepared to showcase to Ghanaians that the Party was ready to move the country forward in development and help solve the challenges confronting the ordinary person.

Mr Agyapong said the party was prepared to revive all the collapsed factories established by Dr Kwame Nkrumah to create jobs for the youth and maintain roads to farming communities to ensure sustainable food production for the country and for export.

He urged Ghanaians to go back to their roots and rally massively behind the CPP to capture power in the 2016 general election.

He indicated that, he was confident the delegates of the Party would do the right thing by electing a competent leader when the CPP goes to Congress to elect their flagbearer. GNA
