PPP Begins Post Convention Tour
18.11.2015 LISTEN

The National Committee of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) led by its National Chairman Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond with National, Regional and Constituency Executives will begin a national tour to all ten regions of Ghana this week.

This national tour will be used to announce the beginning of the PPP's 2016 campaign and will call on Ghanaians to be "Awake and Vote for Change". The national tour will begin in the Western Region on November 18, 2015 and the Central Region on November 19, 2015. The tour will also assess the preparation of regional and local executives for the 2016 campaign and call on Ghanaians to support and vote for the PPP as the Change Ghana Needs.

In the wake of broken promises by the NDC government, unemployment, dumsor, poverty and illiteracy, many Ghanaians have expressed the willingness to vote for an alternative political party. Many are afraid of what will happen after the 2016 elections if the NDC or the NPP wins the presidency. Ghanaians want to protect the peace and stability we have all sacrificed to establish.

In our short period of existence, the PPP has sworn to be disciplined and show respect to all Ghanaians including our political opponents. We have committed ourselves to forming a government that uses the best men and women without regard to religious, ethnic or political affiliation. We will complete all projects started by previous administrations and we pledge to provide incorruptible leadership. We believe that Ghanaians are ready to vote for a peace-loving, respectful and purposeful political party. We are working hard to deserve their votes.

This tour will give us the opportunity to make our case directly to the people in small community group meetings, on local radio stations and at places of work. The PPP will make a special effort to talk to the youth and students during this tour and encourage them to think about their future by supporting the PPP.
