Alan Kyerematen Reiterates His Support For Necs Decision
30.10.2015 LISTEN

Our attention has been drawn to a “Press Release” making the rounds on social media, particularly on whatsapp groups, purporting to have been issued by the Special Aide to Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, Nana Yaw Adutwum.

The press release seeks to water down and disregard an earlier press release by Mr. Kyerematen, to support the decision by the National Executive Committee of the party and the statement issued by the Flagbearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

We find it disingenuous that certain people will hatch such a plot to drive a wedge between Mr. Kyerematen and the party he loves and has sacrificed so much for. We state, unequivocally, that Mr. Adutwum has not issued any statement today, to contradict the earlier statement release by Mr. Kyerematen.

Mr. Kyerematen reiterates his support for the decision of the National Executive Committee regarding the indefinite suspension of the National Chairman, Mr. Paul Afoko. Mr. Kyerematen believes that Mr. Afoko will exhaust all internal avenues and will not disrespect the party and its structures.

In the past few days, Mr. Kyerematen has been in talks with Nana Akufo-Addo and His Excellency, Former President J.A. Kufuor to find a way to minimise the political damage that the indefinite suspension of Mr. Afoko will bring to the party.

Mr. Kyerematen remains committed to the party's campaign for victory in 2016 and no amount of mischief shall deter him from his commitment.

Thank you.

……...Signed………

Nana Yaw Adutwum
Special Aide to Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen
