The management and staff of Happy 98.9 FM have opened a book of condolence for their late Snr. Presenter and News Caster Kwabena Kwakye a.k.a ‘Kwakye Adeɛfɛ’, who passed away last Friday 16th October at the 37 Military Hospital.
The one-week remembrance ceremony for Kwabena Kwakye was held today Friday 23rd October, at the Happy FM premises.
At a solemn worship service to mark the opening, Mr Akwasi Agyeman, MD of Global Media Alliance Company (GMABC), extolled the virtues of the late Kwabena Kwakye.
Mr Agyeman described him as a father, a brother and a colleague who always showed care and concern for the people he worked with.
He said the company is devastated about Wofa Kwakye’s death, as he was a great asset with a wealth of experience that cannot be replaced.
Mr. Agyeman also went on to assure the family of the company’s total support in these trying times and pledged the company’s assistance to give him a befitting burial.
