GPO Campaigns To Raise Funds For Bismark Biney

Ghana Peoples' organization-GPO has strengthened efforts at raising funds to settle the medical bills of Bismark Biney, a final year aeronautical engineer student of Sheng Yang aerospace University in China.

Speaking in a telephone interview with a Kumasi based radio station Fox fm on Tuesday evening,the director of Media and Public relations, Opanyin Michael Amponsah indicated that Bismark Biney had been on a life support for the past few weeks and two surgeries have already been conducted on him, having been diagnosed of a hypertensive intra cerebral hemorrhage a medical condition he described as blood oozing into the brain and has subsequently left Bismark Biney in Coma.

He further disclosed that the hospital authorities have threatened to take Bismark Biney off the life support since the cost of his medical care has already exceeded the maximum limit of his medical insurance fee of 350000 Chinese Yuan($55,000).Opanyin Michael Amponsah also revealed that an amount of 100000 Chinese Yuan ($25000) is currently needed to help keep Bismark Biney on the life support machine to bring him back to life.

The director of media and public relations of GPO however, made a passionate appealto all and sundry to contribute their widows’ mite to help save Bismark Biney.He therefore asked all prospective donors/contributors to do so via the account details below:
