Tatale (NR) Oct. 9, GNA - The Tatale Sanguli District Assembly failed to elect a Presiding member on Tuesday, October 6.
Out of 28 assembly members who voted, Mr. Nyimagnun Frank of the Tatindo Electoral Area polled 12 votes, Mr. Sagbe Samuel of the Nakpale Borile Electoral Area had 11 votes, with Mr. John Najam of the Sanguli Electoral Area securing five votes.
None of the three contestants was able to secure two-thirds of the votes cast.
Tatale - Sanguli District was one of the new 46 districts created in 2012.
