World Mental Health Day Conference And Skill Development Workshop To Held In Accra

The Mental Health Foundation of Ghana invites registration for the second World Mental Health Day Conference and Skill Development Workshops , to be held in Accra, 12 - 14 October, 2015 at Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, 54 Independence Avenue Accra .

Incorporating official World Mental Health Day activities, the Conference provides opportunity for interaction between local mental health stakeholders and international experts - including Associate Prof Chris Kewley, University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia and Professor Anne Buist, Professor of Women’s Health, University of Melbourne Australia.

The two full days of Workshops will include Mental Health First Aid Standard 12 hour Course and Skills Training for the Effective Implementation of the Mental Health Tribunal

Supported by the Australian High Commission to Ghana, University of Newcastle, Rotary Clubs in Australia, Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, PFL (Preparation for Life) Education, Mental Health Educators in the Diaspora and several small businesses in Australia and Ghana.
